To emphasize the importance of information technologies in education in the fields of mathematics and science for elementary, secondary and high school education, and to emphasise the significance of the learning technology in this field, developing and adapting the application, It is a competition performed by the Informatics Foundation of Turkey in order to add power to the work of the people and institutions and to encourage the growing generations. It will be our primary goal to support the contribution of information technologies to the learning outcomes of students, and to develop and maintain programs that will generally support qualified digital content and programs, in particular games-based content and programs.
Participation in the competition may be individual or institutional.

 

Fields to Apply

Participants will be able to participate in the competition in two different ways listed below. Each participant can participate in the competition with more than one project.

  1. Science and/or Mathematics Digital Content Ideas (Process)
  2. Science and/or Mathematics Digital Content Applications (Product)
    • Original Applications
    • Science and/or Mathematics Digital Content Application Adapts (Adapted Product)

 

Application Theme and Scope

Participants’ digital content projects will be limited to the following themes and scopes.

  1. Contributing to the learning of Science* and/or Mathematics topics,
  2. It is aimed at learning subjects within the MoNE programs at primary, secondary and / or high school levels.

*Science refers to Science and Technology at primary and secondary school levels, and Physics, Chemistry and Biology at high school level.

The information and documents submitted to the persons involved in the evaluation process of the applications made to this support program shall be regarded as “trade secret information” or “service specific information” belonging to the Organization and shall not be transferred to third parties in any way. These information and documents are not covered by the Law on the Acquisition of Information No. 4982 dated 9/10/2003.

The information contained in the award-winning application files may be published by the “KOD Awards Contest Executive Committee” with permission from the participants concerned.
